Marketing
Marketing that keeps going when you get busy
Marketing for a small business fails for one reason more than any other: it stops. The owner posts for three weeks, a big job lands, and nothing goes out for two months. A bigger competitor has a department that never stops. We are that department for you, across content, video, email and your Google Business Profile, so it keeps going whether or not you have time that week.
What marketing does a small business actually need?
Less than most agencies will sell you. For a team of one to ten, four things do most of the work: being findable where your buyers look, publishing a small number of pieces worth reading, staying in touch with the people who already know you, and showing up when someone nearby searches for what you do.
Everything we run fits inside one of those four. If something does not, we will tell you it is not worth paying for yet.
Why does marketing stop when the work picks up?
Because in a small business the marketing department is the owner, and the owner is also the delivery team. When a client needs something, marketing is the first thing dropped, every time.
The fix is to take it off the owner's plate. You give us the raw material, usually a short recorded conversation or a video shot on your phone, and we turn it into the finished piece and get it out.
Where does each piece live?
Each part of the marketing work has its own page: marketing content, organic content, email marketing, Google Business management and X engagement. Take one, or put them together.
What we run, and what we need from you
| What we run | What it does | What we need from you |
|---|---|---|
| Marketing content | Answers the questions your buyers ask, so you are the one they find | A short recorded conversation |
| Organic content | Keeps your channels active with video that sounds like you | Raw video shot on your phone |
| Email marketing | Keeps you in front of the people who already know you | Your list, or we build one |
| Google Business management | Puts you in the map results with current details and real reviews | Access to your profile |
| X engagement | Puts your name in front of the right people each day | Your approval on what goes out |
How is marketing different from sales outreach?
Outreach starts conversations with people who have never heard of you. Marketing is what they find when they look you up afterwards, and what keeps you in mind until they are ready.
They work best together. If you need conversations this month, start with sales and let marketing build underneath it.
Questions people ask
Do I need to be on every platform?
No. Pick the one or two where your buyers already spend time and do those properly. Being thin on five platforms is worse than being useful on one.
How much of my time does this take?
Very little. Most of what we need comes out of a short recorded conversation or a video you shoot on your phone. You talk, we build the finished piece, and nothing goes out without a person who knows your business reading it first.
Will marketing bring in leads on its own?
Rarely on its own, and not quickly. Marketing compounds and it makes every other channel work better, because someone who has read you replies differently to an email. If you need conversations this month, start with outreach and let marketing build underneath it.
Can I take one piece without the rest?
Yes. Each piece stands on its own. Most clients start with one and add the next when the first is working.
